FRHorstmann's Silberlocke Korean Fir
Détails du produit
Beautiful and Unique Fir Tree
Even with its small stature, Horstmann's Silberlocke Korean Fir is a true standout. This dwarf conifer is known for its lovely and distinct deep green needles, which curl upward to show off their shimmery silver underside. The needles fill the dense branches, which are accented with large purple-hued cones, offering a stunning decorative contrast.
Fragrant and compact, the Horstmann's Silberlocke Korean Fir grows slowly in a pyramidal shape. It will reach a fully mature size of around 10 to 12 feet tall and 6 feet wide. Cold-hardy and adaptable, this evergreen is resistant to deer and rabbits.
Its visually appealing presentation makes the Horstmann's Silberlocke Korean Fir the ideal specimen for planting. It will thrive when added to a mixed conifer grouping, used as an accent tree, or in containers on patios and decks. Grow yours today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Silberlocke Korean Fir in a location with well-drained soil where it will receive at least 6 hours of sun each day. To plant, dig a hole in the ground that is two times as large as the root ball. Place the tree in the loose soil and press the soil down until the tree's roots are completely covered.
2. Watering: Water your tree thoroughly when planting and then as needed to keep it moist for the first year. Korean firs will not thrive in saturated soil.
3. Pruning: Since the Silberlocke is compact and slow-growing, no pruning is required other than removing any dead branches.
