Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant or repot within 4 weeks of arrival. Choose a location with well-draining soil and ample sunlight for optimal growth.

2. Watering: Water regularly during the first few weeks after planting to establish roots. Once established, Yaupon Shrubs are drought-tolerant but appreciate occasional watering during dry spells.

3. Pruning: Light pruning can be done in late winter to maintain shape and encourage bushier growth. Remove any dead or damaged branches as needed.

4. Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring to promote healthy growth. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to excessive foliage at the expense of natural forms.
